ROTOR Spinning (Open-END)
The second most widely used method is the Open end or Rotor Spinning method.The difference b/w Ring Spinning and Rotor Spinning is that it requries less no. of Processes as compared to ring Spinning method.The Series is as follows:
1) Blowroom
2) Carding
3) Drawing
4) Rotor Spinning
This is cheap method and requires less no. Of workers.The yarn made through this technique is often of low quality so is used mostly for underwearings and T-shirts.

The present invention provides a novel process for making yarn from a unique combination of fibers of cotton, nylon (preferably nylon 6) and silver and a process for forming this yarn utilizing a unique sequencing of individual steps. The final yarn product is extremely strong, stable and useful for being woven into various fabrics and/or materials and, most particularly, possesses enhanced antimicrobial properties.
