Cable Cars!

Hi people, first let me introduce me. My name is Jesus and im from Venezuela, i study in the ULA (Universidad de Los Andes) http://www.ula.ve/, Latin American Top 28 according to this site http://www.webometrics.info/top100_cont … n_america.

Im posting here because i didnt find some "students" thread/forum, sorry if this is not allowed in here.

Long story short, i (and 3 other students) have to Desing 3 different models of Cable Car, my teacher is giving us the terrain/trayectory (we are NOT taking in account the fuondations/bases), we need to desing the Towers(3), The Car, and The Wire/Cable/Cord? (sp?), calculate all the forces in the system, Have everything Working and then do a Big Presentation in our Faculty(sp?)/University.

We are not getting normal classes, they are implementing a new system (A.K.A: We are Lab Rats hehe) about people learning everything for themselves (autodidact?) about the class/course¿?

I already have been doing some research about the monocable, bicable and tricable Cable Car, this week im going to present our first tower desing.

In resume, im asking for occasional help here, please dont think i want you to do all of the assingment for me. And my first question (of many to come i hope) do you have any information About Construction/Desing of cable cars?
